Was your battery disconnected? Since the pump runs on 12V and it didn't turn on until you plugged in shore power, if your battery was connected it had probably completely discharged. If so, check to be sure its holding a charge before you head out on your next trip.

sounds like it  is sucking air either from the bypass and the antifreeze or from an empty water tank.. put some water in the holding tank and make sure the bypass is closed. it should pressure up then and cut off.

Picked up Pod from Home Owners A. parking lot to get ready for trip. Plugged in shore power then went in the house.  Came back out an hour later, and heard the water pump runningConfused.  I had forgotten to shut the pump off a few weeks ago when I flushed the sys.  Thought it only runs when calling for water What would cause it to run with all faucets closed?  Last year I had a problem with it not coming on, but that was a broken lug. Sure don't need this now getting ready to go to Cushman Scooter Rally. Thanks in advance Pod'ers.
Happy Traveling,
Tom
