What part of your Rpod makes you think “Who ever designed this thing has never spent a night in a trailer?”

I will start,
1. On a 19/189, Having to dismantle the bed to access water pump and water heater for PM or winterizing.

For the life of me I can't explain it but, I manage to hit my head at least once per trip on the edges of the cabinet over the stove and sink on my 172. They are rounded at least but, they stick out an extra inch or two from the cabinet. You would think I would learn but...Censored

That stupid panel under the fridge on the 179 that rips off if something gets behind it before opening the slide.

The scissor table legs for the dinette table.  You have to be a contortionist to get around them.

I agree with the Water heater and pump under the bed!  What an insane idea!! It is a major job now to winterize and de-winterize.  I am going to come up with a solution for that-----eventually.  Will post it when I do.

I agree also with the dinette table design.  Not only can you not maneuver in or out, when you let it down to make a bed, watch your fingers.  It is a knuckle buster.  Very bad engineering.  I am in the process of building a new table (Center post) , not attached to the floor, but we can lay it down on the floor while traveling.  I will keep a piece of plywood somewhere in the truck or trailer in the event that we ever do need to make this into a bed, which is very unlikely.

This is not Forrest River's problem directly, but I sure do wish that the Suburban furnace didn't sound like a hovercraft taking off!

Woodmeister,

I haven't bypassed my water heater in four years. I drain, air pressurize and use a Johnny Chock to clear toilet valve. Four years no issues.
