Have changed our antenna from the factory on our Vista which gave very poor reception for our TV, to a King OA1001 omnidirectional antenna. It works much better getting about twice as many stations that we could not get with old antenna. It still doesn't work quite as good as our crank up antenna we have in the Vibe camper but it is very close.

It's been said by many people that an omnidirectional antenna only ensures an equally bad signal from any direction.

If you really want to pull in stations, a directional antenna is the way to go. The only real downside is that it usually requires re-aiming when changing between certain channels if you're in a city or closeby. The further out you get from a city, the less of an issue it becomes because all of the stations are going to be in the same general direction.

We are getting about 15 stations with the new antenna all stations are about 50 miles away in Huntsville Alabama. There are some good reviews with this antenna and that is why I chose the King antenna. We are happy with it, there is only one station that I know of that it will not pick up, one that the crank up antenna picks up on the Vibe. I don't watch much TV but my wife enjoys it since she is not able to walk long distances now and stays in the camper more than I do.
