Has anybody installed plexiglass panel over the screen? My two wieners want to hit it with their paws when the see a squirrel or another dog. They are going to knock it out. Want something that it will look neat.

I haven't had to do that but if I were to, I'd go to my local True Value Hardware store or equivalent and have them make me a plexiglass panel encased in window frame material, then I'd fasten it to the door using screen door window fasteners, like these:

making sure of course, that the screws are short enough to not go through the rpod screen door frame.

Yes.  If cut to the right width, it will fit into existing slots on the door, no frame needed.  In fact, the plexiglass has to bend a little bit to more or less snap in place, so it needs to not have a frame.  My plastic panel goes about half way up the door; high enough to foil the dogs' destructive desires but still allow ventilation on top.

I went to the hardware store and bought an aluminum screen door grate. It fit almost perfect. It’s brown so you don’t really notice it’s there. It’s strong and is an open mesh for air to move through...
