What is the current thought regarding trip planners like RV Trip Wizard? I am new at this and am finding that I'm spending a great deal of time on the planning. Is this planner worth purchasing? I should add that I'm a newbie. Any tips would be appreciated.

I don't know about any trip planners, but I do agree it can require a lot of work. I almost wonder if there is a way we could put together a thread, and people could list places they have camped? Then If you are planning a trip you could ask someone that says they went for a few recommendations? For instance, I just got back from Niagra Falls, and someone saw that post, and contacted me for some insight. I would be willing to list any info I have, where I stayed, was it good/bad, what attractions were must see, etc.. I don't know if people want to list all that, but some will. It would be a great starting point to plan a trip.

This is a great idea.  I just got back from  Niagara, the Poconos and the Western Mountains of Virginia.  Heading out on Saturday to the north Georgia Mountains.  Would be happy to post details. I'd suggest individual posts for for each pace to make it easier to use.

I may be missing something, but doesn't the "Campground" section of this forum already have posts of various campgrounds that Podders have camped in?
