Most of my travels have included highways and bumpier places so I don't know if its always or just in the bum[pies.  I think bending the metal a bit with my pliers is a good idea. I'll give that a try.  Thanks!

We had that problem, there is a split in the ring , just pull it apart a bit then when you put it back on you may have to squeeze it a bit to fit the 3 holes
If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Does than happen on a highway or only off road on a bumpy road. We never had that happen but we have only traveled on smooth highways with occasional bumps. Maybe the grates could be bent a little to fit tighter in the slots.

Hi folks,

I know you all have come up with lots of tricks and mods to deal with little annoyances so I'm hoping for some advice.  My cook top burner grates bounce off during travel and I have to go look for them in the camper when I reach my destination. LOL  Has anyone come up with a way to secure them? I have a cutting board that lives on top of them for daily use but I move that when traveling.  I can remove the burner grates too but I'm trying to minimize how much of that I can't be the only one with this problems.  Thoughts?
