I know one of you are using them, yet how many are?

Curious about how their working out for you? I think the one member is using in combination with a WDH, so hoping to find out if someone is with them alone.

Timbrens are on the same idea, yet what I read in other forums is the Sumo's can be cut and adjusted to your requirement. If true, I like that option.

Have had Sumos on last two TVs. Mine were not adjustable, they were made for truck application. etrailer has great reviews of both Timbrens and Sumos for your model.

What my other forums talked of, was cutting the SumoSprings. How much it reduces over-all, I have no clue.. Most are dealing with the same tongue weight we do. Sounded interesting and hope for some more feed-back abut this.

Big question for you.. Why not on this one?

As I said they were built for application. So clearance was adequate to install and use without any reduction to the height. If I reduced the height there would be no difference in bump stop I replaced. The added height enables the bump stop to have effect over the stock bump stop. In 5 years of Sumo use I have never seen mention of cutting to adjust, they bolt on and engage earlier, cutting them makes no sense, keep your stock bumps.

Well here's another question dealing with Sumo's..

Has anyone attempted adding them on the outbound side of our axles?
This distance outbound is a issue and is it a possible solution?

Are you asking about installing a Sumo Bumpstop on the RPod axle vice the TV? I've seen nothing on that. The stops are made for vehicles and replace original bumpstops. I briefly looked at my Pod and there is no mounting point for a bumpstop. Outside of the axle amounting point.

They are a stop, not a spring. They increase the distance and height of your factory stops. You can't mount them where they contact nothing and then expect them to have an effect. When I look at my Pod from the spring /frame mounts to the hubs, there's nothing. They would do nothing.
