We have just brought home a new R-POD 196 and are looking for a good breathable cover. We would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Greetings:
Amazon is the place with the lowest price and good shipping, most likely.  It's where I bought mine for my R-179.

Classic Accessories,  I had two poly-pro covers that lasted about 6 months each.  The fabric on top came apart.  I traded for their PermaPRO fabric with very good luck.  It slides on and off smoother.

We have a 195 and Classic Accessories says they do not have a cover specifically for this model.  So you may need to call them and ask what other cover will fit.  I am thinking that the 195 and 196 are similar to a Lantz or Minnie Winnie and that cover may fit.  If you find out what will fit, please post on this forum so everyone will know.  Thanks.
Enjoy Life!!

classic accessories sells multiple levels of covers.  Our first pod(173) had the less expensive cover and it lasted 3 winters(we cover it only in winter)
Our latest pod(179) has the higher level cover and I think it will last at least 5-6 winters. I haven't looked at their website lately, so I don't know the actual name or model or current prices. but I would suggest getting the best one you can afford.

We bought a Classic Accessories cover from eTrailer online for our 2018 180. They matched Amazon's price. Our 1st one only lasted four months and got shredded from the wind storms last year here in CA. It was replaced under warranty. The replacement seems to be doing OK but I'm really careful with it.

Becareful taking it on and off. It's EASY to rip the cotton on the top. It gets brittle because of being in the sun.

An 8-ft step ladder helps a lot to take the cover on and off. Get a sturdy one!! It's money well spent and cheaper than a broken leg. ;)

The cover really does help to keep the rPod clean and free of sun damage.

Next time the white fabric comes apart trade the one you have for a higher quality  PermaPRO cover.
They will do the trade under warranty.
