Hello there!

Just purchased a 2019 R-Pod 176 and will be picking it up in November. This is the first family camper for my wife, seven year old twins and I! Looking forward to making some memories. I've already learned a ton from the forum here, so I thank you all for that.

We'll be towing with a '19 VW Atlas (4 motion)

Just wanted to introduce myself and thanks in advance for answering my newbie questions!

Welcome to the forum.  Lots of good advice and mods here.  Enjoy your 176.

Great purchase.  The 176 has a nice floor plan as well.  I have been here for a number of years, great forum.  You can call this your 24/7 owners manual.  Lots of experts who have a lot of Pod knowledge under their belts who are very willing to help those of us who need advice, help, direction.  Congratulations, you probably have most the winter where you can take your pod out.  For me, in northern Michigan, there are only 2 outings left, this weekend and next week and we are going to put the 177 to bed for the winter before the snow flies.  Spent the whole month of September in CO and UT, got spoiled having sun for 30 days in a row.  It was great!

Almost from San Francisco south you probably won't have to "winterize" in California. The exceptions are in the Sierra, and parts of the central valley (AKA San Joaquin Valley) where they actually get freezing weather.

I'm originally from Boston so I know all about terrible winter, so stoked to not have to winterize the pod. Summer is our brutal time here with temps 110-120. Finally coming out of that into some outdoor weather! Perfect timing to get this thing up and running.
