I just wrecked my 2014 Rpod 178. The body and chassis are ruined, but all appliances are in great shape and used little: fridge, microwave, cooktop, sinks, toilet, fan, air conditioner, furnace, hot water heater, TV, stereo. Also 3 tires with only about 3000 miles on them, an "R-dome"(Dometic Cabana lightweight awning), windows, mattress, seat cushions and table. Buy it all for salvage, or make me an offer on any item. The trailer is in Casa Grande Arizona, between Phoenix and Tucson.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident. We had one in Wyoming, but were able to have the RPod go to the factory for repair. How bad was the accident? Before you try to sell parts of the RPod, you had best check with your insurance company. The money they pay you is for the RPod with all its parts (except for those you may have added and are personal posessions). It is as if you totaled an automobile. You don't get to part it out after you are paid by the insurance company.

Thanks for the heads-up. Unfortunately, I had taken the r-pod off insurance. It was totaled in the wreck, hauled off on the flatbed wrecker. Just trying to re-coup a fraction of my loss if possible.

However, was it insured at the time, and did the insurance pay you for the loss? If so, then you were paid, and the insurance company owns the RPod.

If it was insured at the time of the loss and the insurance company paid you for it, you may be able to make a deal with them to buy the salvage, possibly convincing them to sell it to you for the same price as the salvage dealer offers, which would be a fraction of the value of the appliances and such you mentioned. You could sell them on e-bay or Craigslist.
Sorry for your loss, but, if you are going to replace it, now is a good time to look, before the spring/summer prices. Good luck.

It was not insured at the time of the wreck, and had not been for a year. I took a chance, and lost.

Ouch. That is unfortunate. Hope you can get the parts sold off soon.

I'm sorry about that. The uninsured at the time of the accident was unclear. I hope you can at least recoup some of your money from the remains. I guess it is a lesson learned, to keep insurance current. Mine is insured with my auto policy. I had a $200 deductible and the rest was covered except that we had to go to the factory to pick it up because the return shipping would have cost too much.

Post up on the Facebook page. Good shot of selling some of the items there. You may wish to mention a bit more as you do. Seems there's couple different WFCO's in our units (model of yours). You HR version (out of Montana I'm assuming so)? Those stock tires if West Lakes are sellable! Suggestion for you..
I belong to a trailer builder's group that you may see items on. http://tnttt.com/ and here http://expeditionportal.com both are free to join and have a classified section. A few pic's may help as well. Someone looking for a frame may see it and think it's fixable.. never under-estimate a creative mind! I'm looking for a propane frig to salvage the working parts from! That does lead to: you have all the parts... You should have a good look at the Teardrops n Tiny Trailer forum..http://tnttt.com/ Lots of really cool builds there! Not has hard as you may think and much less expensive than buying! You do have all the parts!

I'd put items in the Campers Flea market forum on this site. Many of the items are common to campers. The frame is useful to a trailer person. Working fridges are a commodity. I'd be interested if we were closer.
