My 172 doesn't have enough storage. The galley drawers are deeper than they need to be for a flatware tray and to use all the space I ended up with a jumble of stuff.

I ordered these trays that fit tightly enough that I can rest the top section on the edges of the drawer.  I added a support to the back of the drawer to keep the top tray from sliding around. Flatware on the top and things-less-used (can opened etc.) underneath. Its much improved!

EchoGale we purchased the same silverware tray for our camper it has worked out good for us just the right size. I agree Marwayne's skills are above the average person, I wouldn't mind having his woodworking skills.

I certainly do not have Marwayne's level of craftsmanship.  However, I did lengthen the drawers under the sink and also modified the top drawer to clear the plumbing drain.
