I think the bigger-to-me issue with towing mirrors (besides seeing better to the back of the trailer) is that if you do add them, get the ones with blind-spot mirrors as part of the mirror. I find this immensely important when towing as my Tundra does not have the tech with blindspot indicators included with the OEM mirror. My last long MI to Fl and back trip this was incredibly helpful to see what was in the blind spot of the truck.

Going back to lug nuts, watch out for those pretty lug nuts with the nice chrome sleeve over the actual nut. FR is using them on their fancy wheels. They look nice but when you use a torque wrench and socket on them, they are good for two or 3 tightenings, then the edges slough off and they won't work in the socket any more. If you have them, it is a good idea to replace them with solid lug nuts. There are plenty available on Amazon and other web sellers. Loose wheels are one of the big causes of trailer accidents.

I checked for specs for 190 TT but can't find anything on specs for tire torque. I guess that'll be with the dealer and I'll have them double check it. Thx!

Look in the axle materials in the owners package of literature. It's probably a Lippert axle and it is likely in the 100 to 120 ft.lb. range. If you can't find it in the Lippert owners stuff, then get the serial number of the axle (best to take a foto) and call them. They are really nice and very helpful.

Great suggestion on the lug nuts, never would have thought of that...until I was someplace when it really would have mattered

Be sure to get lug nuts with the correct cone angle for your wheels...

No kidding Lostagain, I have a brand new R-pod and after the initial trip home one of the lug nuts already cracked after checking them with a torque wrench 4 times. The actual lug nut inside of the cheap plastic/chrome sleeve is smaller and I was only carrying a lug wrench that works for my r-pod and my TV. Good thing I didn't have a flat. I just ordered a 20 piece set of solid lug nuts on Amazon for $14! That is a really messed up place for them to cut corners.

I had a heck of a time getting a couple of them off when the cheap tinfoil covers collapsed. I had to pry the covers off, then found that the nut below was only semi-standard for either metric or English.

So what is the size lug nut you need? Never had this issue with my 2011 but now that you are all talking about it I am going to have a look and take a closer inspection.
