Not a high Tech way but after cutting my leg with the sharp holder it was time to go.  I used a slide bolt attached to the table and a hole drilled in the wood under the seat.

We trashed our dinette table in the 171 and cut up a piece of hardwood to use as inserts when we need to make the dining area into a bed.  We have a small portable table that we use both indoors and out as a replacement for the original dinette table.

This give us much more room by converting the dining area into a sitting area.  Two of the hardwood inserts are stored under the seat cushions while the third sits at the front wall for use as an occasional table.
