trying to I’d source of air in lines when using fresh water tank (filled full) and pump runs but taps shoot out air ( after purging all taps open and releasing air till water flowed in hot water heater). Repeated process several times. I would like to check water valves used to winterize associated with hot water heater. It’s a 2020 Rpod model 195. Any ideas where this pair of valves are located? The one for the water pump is under bed (access through storage area behind trap door ) bit the other two??? Thanks for any ideas

Does the cold water work ok using the pump?
If the answer is  yes s then its probably the water heater bypass valves as you suspect.  There should be two valves on pipes leading to the water heater, one brings  cold in and the other takes hot water out. Be sure both are turned on,  valve handles parallel to the pipes. There should be a third valve which opens and closes a pipe connecting between these two  pipes. This is the bypass and should be turned perpendicular to the pipe so that the valve is closed.
