There has been a concern with the tires on R-Pods that they have a lot of blow outs.
Is there any concerns with the 225/75 R ones on the 2020 171 ?
We just bought a new R-pod and feel like I should replace them?

Need a little more information. What is the full label on the tires? Are they ST tires? Wheel size? Load range? Speed range if listed? Manufacturer?

I personally do NOT need anymore information. It's a fairly accepted fact that R-pods (and many others) come with crappy inferior tires, and I would recommend changing them out immediately. I have gone from the dealership to the tire shop for new tires on both of my new pods. When you have only one axle, what you put on there really matters. It'll cost you about 200 dollars to put a good set of carlisle radial tires on. Just one blow out of the inferior tires will cost over 500 dollars with the new fender, towing, new tires, new rim ETC...

I would have said the same thing last year but we recently had a post from one new owner who had OEM tires which were 15 inch LRD's with a 2500 lb rating IIRC. So, hopefully FR has addressed this issue now.

Our 2020.5 195 came with 15-inch ST 235/75s LRD rated at 2910 lbs (single axle).  Speed rating 75 MPH.

Pod_Geek, your tires sound good, buy you have a heavier trailer with a 4400 lb rated axle.  So we still need to know what the OP's tires are rated for.

Of course.  I was just adding a data point that agrees with your recollection to make you seem even wiser.

It's a science and includes measuring the weight on each wheel and adjusting pressure accordingly.
