Its probably just condensation in both cases. All single layer waterproof tents do that. The tent fabric gets cooler than the air inside at night so water condenses on the inside surface and drips down. The only effective way to keep from having condensation on the inside of a tent is to have a double layer tent with the inner layer breathable and an outer waterproof rain fly. That's how backpacking tents are made, otherwise you end up soaked in the morning from the condensation from your own breath. My recommendation, don't worry about it and relax!

Hi folks, went camping for the first time with the Pod and when it rained, there was a small drip of water coming down off the horizontal poles inside the dome. Cant see how it was getting in. The dome is old so is it possibly letting small amounts of water through the fabric? Cant see any obvious holes or tears (just the small holes where the poles attach). And another night, it wasn't raining but it seemed condensation was dripping from the poles. Very odd.
