just picked up my prod 176t over the weekend and got the Thule full enclosed awning package.  Seems that the clowns at the showroom have installed a fancy blue led lighting strip in the same strip that i need to slide the awning into.  Has anyone got the full enclosure and have any tips on how to install or if there is a bypass. The light strip is glued in and I’m not handy with fixing electrical wiring if i pull on it too hard.

First off, you don't need 4 posts in 2 areas. There are a couple of questions that need to be answered before we can understand the problem.

1. What year?
2. When you say you got the Thule awning, if you purchased it new, why did the awning not come installed? I would go to the dealer and ask them to remove the wiring and install the awning which they should have done before you picked it up.
3. Are you sure your RPod is equipped for a Thule awning? Depending on the year, most of them came equipped for the R-Dome. The track for that is curved to match the curvature of the trailer wall and is mounted on the side of the trailer. The Thule awning I got mounts to the roof and wall.

Please clarify the situation, preferably with pictures to help illustrate the problem.

I have the Thule awning installed, and bought the sides that Thule make to attach to the awning which was the best alternative to the rdome in that removing the awning who then cause holes in the roof. The awning led is using the slide that my awning tent sides need.
R-pod 176t is the 2020 version
This is the video but doesn’t help with actually attaching it to the awning.

Okay. This video might show it better.

Are you saying then that the awning track into which the trailer side of the awning slides is blocked by an LED strip?

The video is showing a Thule Omnistor awning. The one on our RPod is a Thule Crown awning. There may be a difference in construction that makes the room not work with the awning. I looked at the one we have and there is not a suitable place to slide the awning in. It looks like it would take an additional awning fixation kit to provide that place. Thule has a Universal Tent Fixation Kit which might be what you need.

Your best bet is to contact Thule and find out what is needed to mount the Quickfit on your RPod. I have no idea as to where this LED strip is mounted or how so I can't answer your question. I don't know if anyone here has gotten one of the Quickfit rooms. You are the first that I can recall.
