Just ran across a news report that explains the production delays at FR's Elkhart, IN factories.  Sadly for the folks in that part of the country, Elkhart County has become the virtual Covid capital of Indiana.  They have one of the highest infection rates in the country.  Wishing them a fast and safe recovery.

Good luck.  Picked our 195 up last week at Couch's.  Great experience as the technical folks spent as much time as we wanted reviewing things.  Camped 5 days at 3 sites on the way home and tried out everything in the unit.  Dealer said current lead time on delivery is 5 months.

Latest update, RV (R Pod 192) arrived at dealer yesterday (Monday)! I am scheduled to go pick it up (If it passes my unprofessional inspection) this Friday. Smile
Excited and anxious at the same time. Did tons of research, printed a check list, but still anxious.. Wish me luck!

Greetings:
Due to covid, all RV's are in high demand.  I'm sure that all the factories are way behind.  Watch for good deals on slightly used units.  RVing is not for everybody.  Some folks will figure that out this fall.

I have an 03 Heritage 100th anniversary.  When I purchased I explained to my better half that it will increase in value.  Back then, and certainly 15 years before that you might enter a lottery to get to buy one.  Not now.  No real demand.  But I'm hopeful that my pod will increase in value.. but apparently I'm not a good judge of that.

I remember when this was the case with Harley-Davidson....ordering a bike during the fall of one year and not getting it until a year later...maybe the following summer or fall...wow....

Got a call from my dealer (Couch's) that its finished.  Picking up on 10/13.  No word on what the hold up was but at this point I just want it on the back of my pickup and off the dealers lot.  So Mid-June order with expected delivery end of August/beginning of September.  It will be a bit more than a month late.

Our 192 was awaiting glass but arrived at the dealer on Monday. We are picking it up today. Originally due at the dealer around September 1 so not too bad of a delay.

Latest update on my 192, west coast, heard from the dealer, who spoke to the factory in Oregon. The unit has been off the line for several weeks, waiting for windows and valances. It is now expected to be finished next week and at the dealer before the end of the month, which would be about six weeks later than what they told me originally, IF it actually happens.
