Hello all.

Has anyone fitted shelves around the inner wall above the double bed in a 2020 RPod 171 or similar?
Above the 3 windows, maybe 6 inches or so deep, either with nets at front to hold stuff in, or even proper cabinet style doors?
Anyone have schematics of the frame, measurements etc., or best way to find studs (does a house hold stud finder work)?
Thanks.

I have 172, and have only 2 side windows but I built cabinets above them

Hello MarWayne,
Very nice.
Can I ask what wood did you use, framework etc?
Did you rest it on the window cover?
How did you fix to walls, outer and inner?
Basically any and all info would be appreciated.
I'm thinking of doing this, at the head and foot of the bed, and also along the length of the bed, joining the head and foot together.
Thanks for the reply.

Bottoms and doors are 1/2" oak plywood, fronts are 1/4" plywood. the valences are attached to the bottoms. I used coarse thread drywall screws, but predrill 1/16" into skin, use a hand screwdriver, you don't want to overturn them.
