Yes. Good point. I heated up the white wire but taped it black. Somehow I was thinking the A/C was240 volt and the trailer dealt with it.
12 v system works. I’ve got 120 v coming into panel. The only breaker thrown was the bottom converter breaker. But no sign of power to appliances.
My converter is fried as I took it out.
Any recommendations on converter replacement?
AND. Should the microwave and A/C and refer and recepticals (basically shore power) work without converter installed?  I’m thinking not but I don’t know.

A/C appliances do not require the converter. However, they may have been zapped when they say 240VAC instead of 120VAC.

The 12V items are downstream of the converter. The fridge is connected to both 12V and 120VAC, so that is a big question mark. The microwave is 120VAC, and does not require the converter, but likewise may have been zapped by the high voltage. Water heater may be OK if the AC switch was off. The furnace runs on 12V. The TV may also have been zapped as the stock TV runs on 120VAC. Many people have switched their TV to 12VDC.

Yes. Thanks for that. That’s what I thought as well. I am guessing I may have zapped a few things then. I ordered a new converter so there is that.
I need to do some exploring to find where each of the a/c appliances are powered up and try to isolate each one into operation or failure?
Sounds fun but it’s not like I don’t have other things to do !😂😂

The last one of those I worked on, it got the converter/charger, TV, a radio, a Hopper, and the main DTV box.

I am still fighting through a similar issue.  Lightning hit a tree located 4 feet away from the camper.  Fried the converter, the TV, and the coffee maker.  It also blew a board on the heater as well as the interface between the thermostat and the A/C units.  So you might want to check to see if the thermostat is working correctly.

Were you using a surge protector? Just curious because a surge protector may not protect against such a close lightning strike.

Here is a link to the replacement I put in mine... Just take a pic of the wiring BEFORE and then match it up....Takes about 15 minutes...

So far I’ve verified the microwave is toast. So need to look for a suitable replacement. No sign of power to the refer digital display so I have to investigate that as well. And no sign of power to the a/c thermostat or the radio.
I may have blown every 120volt appliance.
