I assume there is a 1 way valve somewhere that prevents the fresh water tank from filling up when you have a hose attached to Campground water supply. Mine must not be working. When I attach to city water, the fresh water tank ends up full.

Can anyone help by letting me know where this valve may be located, or suggest what is causing this issue?

I have a 2010 RPod 171.

Thanks,
Jack

Hello and welcome.

This is a problem that shows up from time to time. You are right in that there is a check valve that should prevent this. It is located in the pump. Sometimes, a bit of debris gets stuck in that valve. The solution is to turn off the city water and run the pump for several cycles. This should flush out whatever is in the valve and fix the problem. If it doesn't, then given the age of your RPod, it may be that the pump needs to be replaced. Try to clear it first though.

Thanks, I have used the pump many times since the problem started. So, I dont think it will flush out. I will check out the pump, if serviceable, I will attempt that. Or, I will try replacing the pump, IF that is where the check valve is located.
