Hi we are new to camping and purchased a 2021 rPod 193 and are pulling it with a 2018 Tundra. When we take off we get the Trailer Brake Alarm on the truck. Everything is working (brake lights, blinkers). Any others have experienced this and know of any solutions?  Thanks!

Is the plug fully seated and the "flap" holding the tab to prevent the plug from falling out?

How did you determine your trailer brakes were working?

Yes, we checked that closely. To clarify - the brake lights were working, was able to stop just driving around my street. I’m assuming the trailer brakes are working. When we searched this site to troubleshoot there was some discussion on the LED lights on the rPod. And another post about a part being replaced. From our conversations with other people with campers it seems to be an rPod issue. ??

Thanks for your reply.

The lights and the brakes on on separate circuits. Try stopping the rig with just the the trailer brake by using your brake controller manual control, that will tell you if they're connected or not. If not the the problem is likely either in the 7 way connector or in the wiring to the brake plates on the trailer. The cheap connectors FR uses on that wiring frequently dont make good contact.
