Should not be an issue, whatever route you take. Our Highlander V6 handled mountain driving quite well when towing our 179.

Hello R-Pod Travelers, In a few weeks we'll be driving from Custer, South Dakota to Mammoth CG in east Yellowstone NP. Our R-Pod is being pulled by a 6-cylinder Toyota 4Runner. Any concerns taking I-90 to Sheridan and then jumping on US14? Wondering about mountain passes and fuel stops. Have any of you taken this route; any advice? Thanks! Jack
