Hello R-Pod Travelers,
In a few weeks we'll be driving from Custer, South Dakota to Mammoth CG in east Yellowstone NP. Our R-Pod is being pulled by a 6-cylinder Toyota 4Runner. Any concerns taking I-90 to Sheridan and then jumping on US14? Wondering about mountain passes and fuel stops. Have any of you taken this route; any advice?
Thanks!
Jack

We have taken that route twice as well as going on US14 with both a 2008 and 2013 Ford Explorer (V6) pulling a loaded (with full FW tank) 177.  Spectacular scenery and no issues.  We did utilize a Curt anti-sway bar link as we towed.

Beautiful drive especially coming into Tensleep and again west out of Cody. Next time, whenever that will be, I'll try Hwy 14 to take in new and different scenery.

Thanks again everyone for your input. Happy trails!
Thanks for following-up and reporting on your trip. I am glad you had a successful adventure.
