EasyTouch RV Thermostat 351 is on order for my '21 171 Pod - the Dometic CT, despite my knowledge of it being 'soft touch', became 'hard press' after only three excursions...junk...

Thanks for the good info gentlemen. In the meantime I made a call to Dometic and the tech person on the line told me that there is *absolutely* to way to replace their thermostat with a programable one! You'd think they'll know...
I'll check into the model you mentioned and will probable justify its price as a life-or-death appliance :j

The Micro-Air EasyTouch thermostat to which Skip refers is a nice alternative to a remote temperature monitor for pets if you pair it with a cellular hotspot or just use campground wifi. I have one as well that I just installed.
You'll need to pick the one that works with your air conditioner; I have the 352 for the Coleman-Mach AC in my 196.

Micro air for big bucks has one that has an app you can control via Bluetooth or internet, love mine but it is expensive. I wanted to be able to adjust from my bed either air or heat as needed.
Easy install but pricey.

Hi there,
I have the rpod 178 2020 and the basic thermostat in it leaves room for improvement such as replacement with a programable one. Does anyone have information on this? is it doable? Thanks! - Elie
