Gas is 111.8 cents/litre today which would be $4.23/us gallon Star

That is a good example of the trickle down theory.LOL  Not really a joke I guess.  But your right everything that moves takes fuel so the trucker will have to charge more, the retailer will have to charge more too.  Then the feds will not give a cost of living to fixed income people.  Go figure!

I heard something about that on CNN - that it was being considered as one of the ways to help reduce the debt.  I think they're going to get money out of us somehow but , hard to predict where.  Increasing the price of fuel raises the price of everything else; as most everything gets shipped/delivered and the cost is passed on to the consumer.

Did anyone see the article where the feds want to add 15 cents to a gallon of gas in the next 3 years. I saw it in the finance section of Yahoo. I don't think it will make it, but i have been wrong before. Here in Mn. we hit $3.05 today.
