No big plans for us, we are staying local so the 'pod will stay parked out back.  Anyone have big plans and will be putting some miles on their 'pod's wheels soon?

Hopefully not as I just got back from 10 days of staying in the rpod.  Learned some things and was glad the camper is small so on the 20 degree days is was a bit easier to heat up

We are hoping to go to Huntington State Park in SC next week if the weather is tolerable.   This is near Myrtle Beach.   It is too cold here in VA.

Hmm, with New Year's being on a Saturday this year I should have thought about a warm-weather getaway.

Don't I wish we could go out now!  In the "frozen North" our Pod is a bit snowbound.  I keep looking out the window and saying "Poor POD!"  I am glad that we at least got a maiden voyage in November!

We stayed in Fayetteville NC @ Lazy Acres RV park the day after Christmas.  We had our twin grand-daughters with us and our dog.  10 inches of snow!!!
Then the next weekend we stayed in Florence SC at a campground just off I-95 (former KOA) and the weather was 60 degrees.  What a week!
We love our pod!
Happy Trails!

We spent Christmas weekend at Andy Bowie county park on So. Padre Island, TX  Very close to the beach.  Had a great time even though a cold front came through and dropped the temps from the low 80's to mid 60's & windy.

Happy Podding

We spent New Years Eve and the weekend at Goose Island State Park, also close to the beach here on the Gulf Coast. It was cool and sunny during the days, but at night it was in the 40's. Glad that Sponge Pod's heater worked fine and while noisy as others have stated, it did not wake up during the night. All and all, a very pleasant retreat.Smile
