Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I don't think our 21-gallon tank will fit in that location.

I'm not sure whether the rear of a 171 is different from a 180, but I slid my portable tank between the body of my pod and the stanchion for the spare and used a web strap to hold it tight.  The strap is above the mount for the spare so it can't slide down.  Mine may not be 21 gallons.

Hi. We're looking for suggestions on how to secure a 21 gallon Rhino holding tank on an RPod 171 forfreewaytravel. Maybe some way of securing it to the spare tire? Thanks!
