Along the lines of “no stupid question”... how do we access the front window in order to open? Seems the blind does not open all the way to allow access. Hmm. The cross breeze would be mighty nice right now!
I dont want to force the blind from the bottom up... seems thats not the way. Thx :-) |

What year is your r-pod 171? When we had our 2009 model 171 we had mini blinds that you pulled the cord and they slid up. And the window was a sliding window that you squeezed the clip to unlock and slide to one side. No question at all is a stupid question. If you have the newer cloth blinds [ I forget what they are called ] with those sometimes you need to pull the bottom bar out a little and slide blind up. That bottom bar gets caught sometimes on the bottom of the window.

I looked at a picture of the new r-pod 171 and has changed a lot since our 2009 model 171. Our 2009 didn't have the very front window only the front two side windows and mini blinds. So I am not sure what the problem is but hopefully it's a simple fix and the cloth blinds are kind of simple we have them on our current camper.

Finally figured it out. Actually...kind campground owner did :-). The “grip” for the friction blind pulls out and releases the entire blind, allowing access to the window and window handles. So silly... but not sure i ever would have figured it out on my own.
