My RPod CO?Propane detector needs replacing, or a new battery. Anyone deal with this?

I ordered a replacement on Amazon and easily switched it out myself.

Same here. If you have a surface mount that sticks out, consider getting a flush mount instead. I kept kicking the surface mount one. That did not happen with the flush mount. You would just need to verify that there is nothing that could be damaged by cutting the recess hole needed to mount it. This is the one I used:

That's what we did; went with the flush mount. It required a little bit of trimming of the hole in the wall, but was not a big deal.

I never deal with Amazon but purchase from eBay as they offer free shipping without the bait-and-switch tactic Amazon uses.  Regardless what you are looking for eBay has for $24.95 and up and of course "free shipping." Big smile

We are replacing ours with an identical unit as was installed when the trailer was built.  It's a flush mount that, according to the manual, dies on the 18th of August this year -- 5 years old.  Bought it from Amazon for about $40 including shipping.

I was going to ask the same question.. I tried to sleep in the camper for a test run before we leave tomorrow and there was this beeping that came on about 2-3AM. I flipped on my phone and tried to do some research and the general input was its the Propane detector going off. The tank was closed and there was no smell... the beeping didn't even have a pattern to it it was just all over the place and very faint.
