I purchased tires for my R180 from Sam's Club. The Toyo Open Country A/T were not in stock and had to be ordered. Unfortunately, I let them install before looking at manufacture date. They were already 2 years old. Lesson learn ... always exam date before they install. I change ties at 6 years, because rubber oxidizes when exposed to air.

Quick update:
2nd time we got lucky, tires made in 2023! A quick question on tire pressure though, for Carlisle load E, the max psi on the tire says 80, the tires when I got them back from the tire store is around 60psi.(which seems to match with the Rpod tire setting). Which one should I follow? |

I've been on both sides of this discussion. Should I go by the tires recommendations, or the trailer. The tire can be put on many different vehicles, and has a max of 80 psi. The camper has a recommended psi for it's specific intended use. They have a max weight that the camper and cargo should not exceed, and they determined that 65 psi max is good for that set up.

Yes, agree! If you max out the weight limit on the tire, you will be well over the weight limit for what your R-Pod can carry.
