Hey guys,

I am noticing the uneven tire to wall distance from left to right? about 1 inch difference on my 178 HRE.

I looked at how the torsion axle is mounted to the frame(with the riser kit of HRE version in this case), but couldn't really figure out what might be causing it. I also checked both ends of the axle, nothing stands out (yet).

I should add that my axle is slight bent.

Thanks.

It may be possible that the axle wasn't evenly spaced when the riser kit was installed.  When I added the riser kit to my 177 many years ago, I kept one side tight while the other side was loosened and adding the riser.  Measurement was made before and after install, in this case the measurement was exactly the same for both sides.

That could explain it I guess.

Just finished my first trip, and upon more observations, the left side wheel (further to the frame) has negative camber while the right one (closer to the frame) seems ok, not sure if this is a coincidence.
