My attempts to use that track have been thwarted by the downspout interfering with the feed. Can you share your hardware design?

i'm uploading it now, my phone is super slow. but it is a 5/16" machine screw, 2"s long, i clamped the head in a vise, put a washer and nut almost all the way down, then tapped the screw over almost to a 90 degree. the head slides in the channel.

Thanks! What do you use for the awning? A common tarp?

You may want to check a marine supply for sail slides that can fit into the track. They come in various shapes and sizes for the track.

I ordered a medium duty tan tarp from Amazon. It only had 4 grommets on each side, so I ordered a grommet kit and made 5. One completely centered and then two were it starts to curve. Then on the ends. I bought 8' telescoping poles too. I had to add a grommet on the center of the pole side, I extended the center pole 8: and the two corner poles about 7' or so. It seems pretty good.

We have a Pahaque cover for the slide because we camp in the trees so much, but one person on a teetering ladder is not sufficient for a load-and-pull install. You have to work it through. I've found it easier to simply sweep the top before retracting.

I just bought one as well. Mine slides in really easy, i carry my little ladder with me, as long as the ground is ok i shouldn't fall off, i hope. it seems to work well and looks snazzy too. i like it.
