I followed a topic "Electric Tongue Jack....??"
It closed and I could not post to it...
I want to change to Tongue Jack to Electric on mine, but I have no clue

The previous topic indicated a 4500lb works good
In researching they say:
You will want to get a jack that has a capacity of 10-15% of your campers weight

R pod specs indicate
Hitch Weight    359 lbs
Dry Weight    3447 lbs

So, figure loaded, 4000 – 4500 lbs

15% of 4500 = 675 lbs

that's no where near 4500 lbs

Can someone straighten me out
there must be a formula to follow?
Thank you

I used this one with our 179 and had no issues with it that were not caused by me.

Remember, you are not lifting the whole trailer, just part of the weight and part of  the tow vehicle weight if you are raising the hitch to help get bars on. This one had plenty of capacity with the 179.

Edit: The bubble level on it is next to useless. Also, it lost whatever liquid was in it after a couple of years. Other than that and me accidentally bending the bottom which I fixed by sawing off a little and drilling a new hole for foot attachment, it functioned without issue.
