Yep, it was Shasta.  I used to drive by the plant a couple of times a year.

We used to have a Shasta 17 foot, either 70 or 71, not sure of the year and yes, they all had wings.

I showed my wife the picture of the r-pod with the wings on it and then picked up the set of wings I have here and she told me no way were they going on the r-pod!  Then she said "Find some other camper to put it on"  So I guess thats here way of saying I can have a third camper sitting in the back.  :)Thumbs Up

Maybe putting the wings on the side of the Pod would alleviate the vaccum issue that some think is plaguing the towing MPG's. Ying Yang

A neighbor of mine has a camper with the wings in his front yard.  Showed up around Christmas time.  I was told he bought it for the kids as a 'playhouse'.  Has a drop cord running to it.  Lucky kids.  I remember when I was a kid we had an old Scotty camper.  We had stopped camping and the camper sat in the yard for years before my parent sold it.  Boy, what fun I had playing in that thing!
