Seems like a dumb question but I cant seem to find what size hitch ball I need for my to be delivered r-pod. Are the different size balls interchangeable or do I need a specific size ball ? Thanks for any help.

A two inch hitch ball is needed. The question that is not asked is the one that is dumb. Happy to be of help. Congradulations on your new Rpod, hope you have many happy and safe years of enjoyment with it. David and Danette

I also recommend getting a class III hitch.

The other question I had that I forgot to ask was, how high is the top of the receiver on the trailer, so I can figure out how much of a drop or rise I need. I had a class III hitch installed this weekend along with a transmission cooler and power steering cooler.

I had 14 inches from the ground to where the ball installs on the riser. I had to get a 2 inch riser/4inch drop for the Dodge Caravan that we had and we do not have a lift kit on our POD. That kept the POD level on the van. I had to use the riser side. Just to make sure of where you are at, you could measure at the axle from the ground to the bottom of the frame and that should be where you need to be at the hitch. Goose

Its best if you can get the tounge of the 'pod to rest slightly downward if you can't get it level. Don't let it sit at an upward angle, that will promote sway where a downward angle will help prevent sway.
