i joined here about 6 or 7 months ago.and was undecided about the i pod or the surveyor. since then i have had some more heart issues, and had a second pace maker put in. wife and i have decided to go with the surveyor, and will be picking it up monday. it had several features that included a electric awning, that because of my heart. would be easier than the screen on the i pod. anyway hope i dont get kicked off. we are new to the camping thing and alot of good info, and people here. my wife and i and my pitbull, tuff. plan on getting out alot. hope to see some of you out and start putting some faces with some names. will post up some pics of our new camper very soon . just wanted to say hi again.

Welcome back, Big Bear!  I too am sorry to hear about the health issues.  Folks around here seem to be just fine with those of us who don't own Pods (I'm a former Pod owner).  At the end of the day, we are all camping enthusiasts and most campers have pretty much the same stuff inside.  Even different models of appliances still operate much the same.

I think the Surveyor is a good choice and there are things about it that I like better than my Coleman (such as the thicker sidewall insulation).  It is, for the most part, a Pod with a different shape.  It is even made in the same factory as the Pods, by the same workers.  Check in and post often!

Welcome back, as others have said, you are always welcome.  Enjoy as much of the outdoors as you can any way you can!
