Thanks to all for the info. Would you believe that I'm having a hard time finding Goo-gone? I'll keep up the search. Interesting thought on the water softener purge.

We carry a small bottle of white vinegar that we dilute with a bit of water in a spritzer bottle to help with the hardwater scale and soap scum that gets left behind when camping at campgrounds with extremely hard water. We just spray and let it rest then rinse and then clean with our regular cleaner (7th Generation bathroom cleaner)

Depending on how the conditions are this year (it's our first full season) we have plans to run water softener through our pipes at least once a year and to dismantle and soak the showerhead in CLR as well.

Also +1 on Goo-gone for removal of the sticky stuff.

Hi Chuck,
A Fiberglas tub cleanser works on the bath and sink fixtures.
We use Goo Gone for getting rid of adhesive from stickers or labels. Works well and doesn't affect plastic. It has an orange oil, so it smells nice too!

What type of cleaner do y'all recommend for shower tub, sink basin, etc.? But especially for removing the residual adhesive from the stickers on all the plastic items?
