Congrats. Don't leave the lot until you are 100% comfortable with how everything works. Take notes, don't be shy, and ask lots of questions. Take your time and enjoy the ride.

Congrats I bought mine form Couch's as well. I drove up form Hilton Head SC. I get mine serviced at Camping World. You should not have any problem finding someone to service it.

Have Fun!

How exciting to be starting on the road to Rpod ownership. Best of luck with the trip home. Our dealer is only 20 miles away so we have no trouble getting service, but I bet you can find someone to service the pod. I may well be wrong but it seems they get to bill the manufacture for defects in workmanship. But they may not warranty like auto manufactures. I think I have read back a couple years on this site and no one seems to have what I would consider a major problem. These are well made campers as far as I can see, I mean for an ultra-light. Good luck and enjoy the trip home. Clark

I didn't.  They actually spent close to 2 hours with me going over EVERYTHING.  We even took the panels apart under the sink to see what was back there...lol.  Towing it back was a new experience, but it wasn't bad at all, but I need axle risers.  I can't park it at home where I want without them, unless I want to drag the jacks.  So that'll be my first purchase, then I can park it where it'll live when not in use.

Dang, and I thought I drove a good distance.  We have a local Forrest River Dealer, but I'm not sure if he'll service it now, at least not under warranty.  There are other dealers in the area that aren't far, but hopefully we never need to use any of it.

Yeah, it was pretty exciting.  I had a fun time (although tiring) making that trip.  I did just about 1200 miles in just over 20 hours over a two day period to go get it.  Will make for a great story at least...lol.

And I think you are right, they do get to do that.  They just don't have to do that I think.  It seems weird.

If you do a search here for axle risers you'll find the phone number to order them from FR directly.  Should be about $75.

Cool thanks, I found it.  Stupid question...does the stove autolight?  I see that it has markings that look like you should be able to turn the knob to light it, but mine doesn't budge past high.  Even if I press it down.  I don't want to force it, so I just tested it by lighting it with a match.  Is that sticker just there to mock me, or have I been eating to much lead paint?

No, the stove does not auto light.  Once you turn it to the light position, you will have to use a match or a lighter.
