So, how did you secure the HDTV in the entertainment center?  I was thinking I'd like to wall mount it in there, but I don't think that backing board is strong enough to hold it.  I thought about just screwing it straight down, but the bottom of the shelf doesn't seem any better.  What did everyone else do?

The RV Center tech suggested we screw it down so I drilled a hole on either side of the base and screwed it down. I also bolted a 1" nylon web strap to the back wall and when we travel I sench up the TV just to take any strain off the base. Strap tucks behind the tv when we are stationary. Clark

Hmm...yeah, I'm not sure if I trust that personally.  I was out there looking at it this afternoon, and I think I'm going to get a couple of 1x2's, stain them, and attach them along the back of the cabinet with screws (top and bottom) and liquid nails along the back.  So I have something solid to put the mount into.  Not sure yet though.

Since we only use our bunks for storage, we use the foam pieces it came in and lay it on its back in the bunk.  Have to hook it up each time but no big deal.
