I'm going to try some cheap ones from Amazon to see how bright they will be before jumping all the way in.  Here are the ones I'm looking to buy...  http://www.amazon.com/GP-Thunder-Light-Miniature-15LEDs/dp/B002VTDFIW/ref=lh_ni_t

In the warmer weather, the standard 921 bulbs get pretty hot (this would be great in the colder weather), which in turn raises the temp of the Pod, so at the very least, I may just change one bulb over so that if I need a light, I can just flip one light on and leave it on.

I haven't tried the LED bulbs as we never boondock. But a friend on another camping site has switched to LED's and seems pleased. Link here:

The price seemed pretty reasonable.

I'm really wanting to switch over to LED's also.  This past weekend there were so many little bugs that had crawled into our lights that I went to take the cover off to empty them.

Well needless to say I got a nice little burn from it, those standard bulbs run so hot it's not even funny.  I actually recall one person showing a pic of how their plastic had actually burned a little bit from them over a long period of time.

I prefer the white light also.

That is a good place pricewise I've been told by many who have done the switch already!

I've never tried them myself, but superbrightleds always gets very good reviews.

I've bought several LEDs from various Hong Kong sellers on eBay over the years and have never been satisfied with the quality or longevity.

I've had my eye on these, in the warm white:

I've been thinking of ordering a couple to see what I think of them.

We put these in a few of the lights and I like them.

Have you noticed any dimming over time?
