Big Bear, here is another area for you to check out for trout - Gunpowder Falls State Park.

I don't fish, but my wife's uncle does and I've seen the Gunpowder listed in his fly fishing mags as a top-10 destination.

Back home after a week of camping.  Rained heavily the first two nights but managed to get the R-Dome up between showers.  Discovered I just LOVE that thing - it gave us a dry place to feed the kiddos and visit with each other.  But BIG OOPS - when I took it (the R-Dome) down breaking camp this morning, and was sliding it out along the channel on RPod, the white part of the dome RIPPED a good 18 inches or more!  I sure hope that will be covered under the warranty!  Otherwise, it was a good trip.  I find I become more and more comfortable with the Pod each trip.

Glad to hear you had a good time!  Hopefully you can get your dome fixed.  If not, I have this idea...it involves a big yellow ball...........LOLLOL

LOL  The SAME yellow ball that was the solution for accessing the hot-water cut-off valve under the bed in the RP177 for winterizing the water pipes?  You had me in stitches laughing over that one!

Hey we missed you on the forum, Diane!
That dome sure comes into its own during rainy weather. I love not having to step out into mud, don't you? I thought it kept the Pod a little cleaner that way. Sad that it got ripped.Cry

Thanks Bette!  When are you and Tom leaving on your "retirement" adventures?
