Topic: OK - it's your turn Posted: 27 Jul 2011 at 5:27pm |
Here is something that might be an interesting twist....How would you grade us; Admin and the Moderators? Be brutal. Be frank. Single us out. Admin - Techntrek Mods - Rpodcamper Terry David What kind of job are we doing? Are we too strict or not strict enough? Is there something we could be doing better. (I often think I post too much and "hog" the forum). Is there something that we are not doing that you would like to see us do. Again, be brutal, if you will. However, those of you who post only good remarks will get a gold star beside your avatar - to signify your superior intelligence and insight!!!

I like that you post all the time - and the others, too. It shows you care about the forum and it helps keep up the chat among us all.
I also like that when we post asking for help, all of you answer us - almost immediately - with your expertise.
Are you REALLY wanting us to get brutal?!! I don't see there is a need for that. Just my opinion - you guys are great!

I'm very happy of this Forum, it's good to talk with people who talk of the same thing as me.
I go to a french Forum of camping (Québec) in general but it's not the same.
R-Pod is a world itself !
And I think that admins and other member of the crew make a very good job !
I want my gold star now

Techntrek - can you please arrange for 2 gold stars for a couple of exceptionally intellegent and insightful members! Diane - I am hoping for some 100% honest feedback from you (and the "collective"). The forum BELONGS to YOU. There is no forum without YOU. I would hope that each looks forward to being here and feels good when they log off. If this isn't happening, we need to know about it and why. When I say "YOU", I mean everybody. Damour - from one of your other posts - naming your Pod. Maybe your husband sees your Pod as a "he" or an "it" and would like something more "manly". I am thinking....... .........maybe something like "Campground Assault Vehicle 2"

I'll give you guys an A! I admire your ability to always have a positive comment or response. In the face of some rather obstinate negativity, admin and one mod were able to chill things down and keep the poster still posting. I am also impressed with the way you keep the spam cleaned up!
And I love to be part of the continuing stories!
Good job, gents!

Right now, all I do is ask questions... so I'm getting more from the forum than giving back in regard to advice thus far. The fact that the answers and helpfulness of the forum's members is superb sets this forum apart from many others out there. Hence, my grade of A.
On a separate note, I have learned an immense amount through reading other member's questions from deep in the forum archive.
The check lists and tutorials as posted by some of the members here is worth its weight in gold.
I love you guys.

Damour, if you use your feminine (note the spelling) wiles (you will have to use a dictionary for that one) on your husband the way you have used them here, the name of your lady will be 'purr-Pod' . I think we all understand why you chose d'amour for your name....!!!
Very few nouns, if any, have a gender in English. Men, for chauvinistic reasons, have often named their possessions with women's names. Although working boats are often called men's names- like tugboats, some fishing boats, and old working transport ships.
I think Hodge-PODge can give us even more...
