Mine was starting to look that way, however, mine had black goo left behind where the decal was peeled away.  I just spent the better part of 2 hours peeling and wiping with goo gone.  I can tell you that it does look better without the peeling decals, and it looks pretty good with just the word "r-pod" on the front too.  There is, however, the slight outline of where the decals were.  I'd like to call it a fading from the sun around where the decals were as under the decals is pure bleach white.  You don't see or notice it unless you are right on top of it though, so I'm still happy with my decision to remove them.

Did anyone ever get new decals for the front? Ours has been peeling for a while and we're debating on what to do about it.  I'd ideally like to have the whole pod wrapped but am not sure what I want on it.  Plus, if it's too cute, G won't tow it Star

I've been teasing him about wrapping it up to look like a tomato or a wheel of cheese or even Pokemon!

Plus, there's always the chance of it being vandalized if it's too cutesy looking.

You mean with thunderclouds and some Palominos or maybe 3 wolves and a moonShocked [Read the top few product reviews]

I'm not sure an r-pod is a Kenny Powers sort of thing. Wink Tongue

Oh, I don't know...  I'm seriously thinking about having the words "Love Shack" airbrushed on mine.  Evil Smile

Has anyone thought about or priced custom vinyl wraps? There's a place near hear that makes them for boats and cars and so forth. Not sure how it's done but they look like an airbrush job, at least when driving by at 55 MPH, ha ha.

My gut feeling is that they'd be pricey, but I haven't had a need to replace my decals yet.

Ours is currently blank white front and back, still have the side decals.  I would be interested in knowing how much a wrap would be, too.

I did some research a while ago and was actually looking at a company that was some sort of matchmaker between people with cool vehicles (such as r-pods) and advertising companies.  Of course you get to pick what you're ok with advertising.  So basically, the wrapping was free and you had to drive around a certain amount of time on certain roads during certain hours.

Unfortunately there wasn't anything near us that wanted advertising or that we wanted to help advertise.  Up in Toronto Canada, there were a few cheese shops and some gourmet grocers that liked the shape of the pod. Can you imagine towing a cheese-pod or a mortadella-pod? LOL

A google search brought up that company on a TV show that does extreme modding and wrapping.   I'm also not quite sure what I want the graphics to be: a giant cat? watermelon? fireball?
