The Jeep replacement top that turns into a tent was interesting too.  Its the second link on the left side after you open the page.

These remind me of something someone else posted a while ago, maybe they are the same.

The last time I was in Sportsman's Warehouse in Lexington, they had one of these set up..

Was a pretty good execution, if a bit spendy, for a tent trailer that could go about anywhere..

I take my R-Pod off road but not the way those things are made for!

When I was camping in the Smoky Mts. last fall, there was one of those in the site across the creek from me.

I spoke to him, but he did not seem interested in talking about his camper.  It did get curious looks from passer-bys.

It is interesting but, it seems like a lot of money for a pup tent that one needs a ladder to get into.  But....to each his own.

Here's a Youtube link to some serious Australian off-roading with a trailer in tow:

That is BAD when you are so off-road you have to be towed!  That guy pulling the camper was absolutely fearless.  (I wouldn't do that to my Pod - what kind of camper was that, anyway?)  Great video.

Those Aussies are a crazy group!Big smile  On my Jeep Liberty forum you wouldn't believe what some of those guys do.  If that guy did like the others I've seen they completely water proof the camper.  Not really a bad idea.  It would keep all bugs out!

I see they didn't have any stabilizers on the trailer.. That's the only thing keeping me from doing the same thing with the pod..
