I know I have read it here before, but I quess there are a lot of people that have never seen a pod. Until about a month ago I had never seen a pod. We set up at clifty falls yesterday about noon, traveled about and was back at the pod before sundown, this one couple about our age, late 50's early 60's kept riding around in a circle real slow pointing like they were looking at a space ship, Yah gotta laugh.

Spaceships indeed! That's a very accurate description of some of the looking and pointing you see people doing as they drive by! |

Whenever people would come by and gawk, if we have time, we'll ask if they would like a tour. Most people actually want to look at it close up.
Yesterday we were Collier RV to pay for winterizing ¡Podtástic!, sign the lease agreement to store her there for the winter, and to talk about getting the axle risers installed, we walked around and they had 5 pods in stock in the showroom. We were looking at their wall of compliments and noticed that almost half of the people who had written to the dealer were Pod owners.

Yup, the pods get lots of attention. The first 12 months we had ours we gave tours during almost every trip. The demand has dropped over the last 12 months. We get our share of drive-by pointing and audible comments ("hey, did you see that R-pod"), one person was actually pointing and laughing as they drove by pulling their 5'er. I'd like to think she had good intentions but that wasn't the feeling I got at the time.

I had a motor home driver tell me that when he parked next to me he laughed, but when he looked r-pod up on the internet he was impressed. He said "you have it all in that little trailer." I agreed. Perfect size for the two of us and the dogs.
