If you check on the website for Forest River, the Hood River edition of the Rpods now adds a stone guard on the front of the trailer.  Check with your dealer and see if he can order that stone guard and install it for you.

3M has several products...clear plastic with adhesive on one side.  Another company has a flexible plastic which looks like metallic diamond plate.  You can check on Amazon.com for both types of material.

As as new RP-172 owner, the wife and I have used it twice , I was able to get a good coat of Carnubra car wax on the front/roof/back, However I have some concern as to the protection on the front of the Pod due to stone chips, grit etc thrown up from the road.  Has anyone put anything on the front to protect it ? I know on cars some manufactors put a clear looking coating on the rocker panels, this lets the car color show through, but protects from tar and stone chips.  I bet there is something you can buy in sheets that has an adhesive on it you could apply.  Any one have any ideas on this ?
