Good Day: We are new owners and haven't even picked up our 2011 177 yet. Still have a couple of weeks to wait or until the roads are clear of ice/snow enough so that my first experience towing the r-pod is a good one. Living in Northern WI that could be further away than we would like. I've been reading posts for some time before we decided to buy and want to thank you all for the great information. You have been an integral part of our decision to invest in an r-pod. I'm semi retired from the home building business but still have a consulting firm with which I'm pretty active. My wife's insurance business (health, life, disability and long term care) is still thriving in Green Bay and Minocqua WI otherwise I might have picked up our pod and be headed south right now. Snow is kinda cute around Christmas but that is now past and I could easily get my daily exercise walking some beach instead of the mind-numbing treadmill in the upper level of our home.

Again, thanks for all your help. At some point (after we pass the newbie stage) we hope to return the favor. Duanne & Ann Swift

Glad to see another Wisconsinite in a 177!  Maybe we will run across you in one of our weekend trips in 2012.  Since we got ours (May of this year) we have only seen one and that was on the road in Madison when we were heading with ours to Colorado.

Congrats, Donna and I got our 2011 RP-172 late also and only got to use it twice this year. We had a good time with it, and still learning. Looking forward to the spring of 2012. When you get it home, you can set inside, run the appliances, read manuals and enjoy the new smell. My wife laughs at me sometimes for going down in the winterized and covered pod and watching Antique Road show.

You guys will love the 177 model.  We have had ours since June 2010 and really love the room the slid out provides.  We do not have the small sink in the shower but that is not a concern since I put up a soap dish and towel hangers in there.  Best wishes in the new camper and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.  Regards
