LOL, we would prefer something a little farther south this year.  Wink  Any suggestions for northern PA?

OK R-Pod campers, we have a suggestion. In Northern Pennsylvania; in the Endless Mountains; near the Grand Canyon (of Pennsylvania). Check out www.pioneercampground.com. We stayed there twice as tent campers, really enjoyed it, felt comfortable and welcome. The area is very rural, a number of state parks around for sightseeing and the Grand Canyon of PA is truly impressive. We remember it as a popular spot, so it would be good to plan reservations early. We like late spring or early fall for the mountains- and as we are anxious to get out there again, the earlier the better. We can always plan another venture for later in the fall! Comments?

Walt and Chris.

I'd be game for that as well.  Smile  I'm only a hop skip and jump from where that is... well almost.  It would be interesting to put a face on some of your names.  Star  To meet you that is.

We would be *very* interested in meeting for a roundup!  Will be following the thread to see any updated posts - last post was in January - so it's time to make our plans, podders!

We would be delighted to have you join us for a roundup! We suggested a campground in NE Pa for a get together, heard from one of our locals that later in the summer or early fall would fit best for them , so it will probably be at that time. We are going to Francis Slocum SP in NE PA over Memorial day Weekend and plan to check out the suggested campground as well as others in the area. We will provide a report when we get back to let folks know what we find.
Anyone want to suggest a weekend? We can check the campground, or the state park for availability.
Thanks for the tweak, PodSquad!
