It looks like (from the Forest River forum) there is going to be a small FROG meetup at Ive's Run in PA the following weekend (Sept 28/29/30). We are thinking about it - looking to squeeze a few extra outings in before the big chill. Any other Podders going?

We had the misfortune last year (on a regular trip, not a rally) of being on a narrow lot between a Class A and a 5th wheel and it was not very enjoyable.  Luckily it only lasted for a day and the Class A left.  For this reason, we're not particularly interested in a rally that will most likely have rigs much bigger than ours.

If there could be some way that smaller rigs could be grouped together we would definitely consider a larger all-inclusive rally.

One week to go!  Looks like my wife is working on something chilli-related for the campground cookoff.  I think she's looking at roasted chilis (one L) as a base for the chilli (two Ls) to kick it up a notch.  I'm working on omlettes to order for Sunday's breakfast.

Looks like we're seven pods confirmed as of Thursday Sept 13, for the Round-up:

Podsible Dream #53
techntrek #51
The E Train #4
Old Dingo #50
secretbard #2
rick350 #10
Paige #5
I talked to Kathy on Thursday, she will release the other sites she had available for us, but if someone else shows up will try to get them close by our area.

Sounds like most are trying to arrive on Friday afternoon or evening. There is a large sign at the top of the hill on the left from the south on US 220 - hard to miss. Just past the Sullivan County Roadhouse - looks like it might be a swinging place, actually --- good food, we can vouch for that!

Plan is to meet as we get together on Friday and Saturday; check out the area, play games or lounge around on Saturday; there is a chili cook off on Saturday afternoon/evening - everyone is welcome to participate - chili must be cooked on site!; happy hour(s) at our place or other designated site; Sunday Pot Luck breakfast/brunch at site 53, bring something to share, we'll have coffee and juice. Sunday - time to go or more local sightseeing for those sticking around another night!
Rick350 has been volunteered to guarantee good weather - temps in high 60s, sunshine, lows in the 40's around the fire. The organizers suggest that you take up any complaints about the weather with him - I'm sure compliments would be accepted as well.
I will have my small telescope set up for star and planet viewing, so let's hope for good weather!!

See you next weekend!

We can not leave till tomorrow afternoon.

How long does it take you to get there?  Our ride will be at least 4.5 hours.

Wish it were today!  We too are almost completely packed and ready to go.

We will leave around 9ish. The map app says just under 4 hrs from here at hi way speed. At 55-60 mph, I figure about 5 hours with a lunch break. Gotta get over a few of those Appalachian ridges...puff, puff, puff...
Secretbard, are you one or two?

I was checking my GPS and I'm about 2 hours and 47 minutes away (144 miles), so I'm probably closer than many of you.
